Here you will find everything you need to know about Edgar High School and what we offer to our students and community. We are located just fifteen miles west of Wausau, Wisconsin. Edgar is a rural community that takes pride in their school and the accomplishments of our students and staff. The entire district operates on the premise of “Edgar Excellence”. This statement is the foundation for the work we do in Edgar.

At Edgar we offer students and their families the ability to be highly involved and succeed both in academics and activities. We offer comprehensive courses that includes dual credit options and transcripted credit for college courses, a wide variety of clubs, organization and athletic activities, caring and nurturing teachers, a strong scholarship program, and a community that is connected to and supportive of our schools.

The facilities of our district are second to none with a beautiful auditorium and state of the art fitness center that our community uses as well. We are very proud of what the Edgar community has provided their children.

Our staff, students, school board, and community are highly engaged in our school. The School District of Edgar is supported by two outstanding young principals in Jordan Sinz (HS & MS) and Lisa Witt (Elementary and Curriculum Director). Our team is committed to helping our staff make Edgar a great place for kids.

Our staff encourages 21st century skills in their classrooms as we equip each of our students to be college and career ready. It is our desire that each student will be engaged in a rigorous learning environment that will ensure they are prepared to pursue their dreams after high school.
